Like McBryde, the top floor of Whittemore is a large mechanical room, housing heavy-duty ventilation equipment. There are three doors out onto the roof, plus a ladder leading twenty feet up to a hatch in the ceiling. However, these are all locked.

There are two elevator rooms, plus an antenna equipment room (there are several satellite dishes on Whittemore's roof), which are also locked.

It looks like the maintenance staff uses part of the penthouse mechanical room for their breaks, judging by the alarm clock, microwave, and empty beer bottles. There are also a pair of 15-foot ladders that lead to the tops of the elevator rooms and stairwells at opposite ends of the building.
